
Print Techniques
Blind Emboss
Raised effect that results in your design appearing 3D on the card stock. It is created through pressure instead of ink and is pressed through from reverse side of the card stock. Being blind (the colour of the paper) means it is a subtle print technique and is really only recommended for larger / bolder graphics or text. Can be used on any paper thickness. Approximate turn around time of 4 weeks. Minimum order quantity of 20.
Blind Press
Your design is pressed into the card stock to create a deep impression. It is created using pressure instead of ink. Being blind (the colour of the paper) means that it is a subtle print technique and is really only recommended for larger / bolder graphics or text. Thicker paper stocks are ideal to allow for a deeper impression, we recommend 400gsm or thicker. Approximate turn around time of 2 weeks. Minimum order quantity of 50.
Letterpress
Involves pressing an inked plate with elevated letters and graphics into card stock to create a deep inked impression of your design. Any matte ink colour is available. Thicker paper stocks are ideal to allow for a deeper impression, we recommend 400gsm or thicker. Approximate turn around time of 2 weeks. Minimum order quantity of 50.
Foil Press
Hot foil press involves transferring a film of aluminium foil onto paper stock using heat and pressure, resulting in a metallic finish with a slight impression. Commonly used foil colours include gold, silver and rose gold. Can be used on any paper thickness. Approximate turn around time of 4 weeks. Minimum order quantity of 20.
Digital Print
Regular flat ink printing. There can be limitations on paper thickness. Approximate turn around time of 1 week. No minimum order.
White Ink Print
Regular flat white ink printing. There can be limitations on paper thickness. Approximate turn around time of 1 week. No minimum order.
