F A Q ‘ S

Can you do work for interstate or international clients?

Yes I can. I have done many jobs for interstate clients (Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Queensland and Darwin – so most of Australia!). I offer standard and express post options with Australia Post. For larger items such as signage, I can supply digital files for you to have printed in your area.

I have done work for international clients, however a little bit more time is needed due to longer delivery times. Shipping will be calculated based on your specific location (it will usually be around $50 express from past experience, cheaper if you don’t need express).

How long does it generally take to design and print an invitation suite?

Design time for an invitation suite is about a week, usually quicker. I can work to tight deadlines if need be. For printing I usually recommend allowing 3-4 weeks (as most of my jobs are foiling jobs, you need to allow some time for the printers to work their magic!).

How long does branding take?

I can usually work to pretty tight deadlines for branding. If it just the logo you are after, I usually allow a week design time, depending on the time of year.  If you are also ordering business cards, this can be done in a couple of days. For the print time of business cards you will need to allow 2-4 weeks, depending on the print finishes you want.

Do you do ‘on the day’ stationery?

Yes, I can do any stationery that you need for your special day, including signage, menus, place cards and anything else that you desire!

Do you supply a sample before sending off the files to print?

No, as most of my jobs are foiling jobs, it is not possible to have a single copy printed for proofing. You will be sent a digital mockup of how the final design will look, and once approved that will be sent off to print.

Do we need to meet up to discuss invitations / branding?

No, not necessarily. I deal with a lot of my clients over email only. However, it can be useful to meet up as I can show you my samples, which usually helps in getting an idea of paper stocks, textures, thicknesses and print finishes. Seeing a design in the flesh can often help in your decision making!

Do you do envelope lettering?

Yes I do. I offer copper, gold, silver, white or black lettering (other colours can be discussed). I do not offer watercolour brush lettering as an option for envelope addresses (I am left handed, so brush lettering is not suited to me!!). I would usually allow 4-7 days for envelope lettering, depending on the quantity of the order.

Do you do custom designs?

All of my designs are custom. I don’t have any ‘template’ designs, and each suite is customised to the specific couple and their aesthetic. I can base a design off previous designs, however bits and pieces will be changed to suit you and your partner.

What kind of typography can you do?

My typography range varies from more traditional and classic, to modern and imperfect. You can search my instagram hashtag #paigetuzeetypography to find a style of typography that you think best suits the look you are going for!

Can you supply digital files only?

Yes. If you would prefer to organise the printing yourself, I can just do the design and send through print ready files.

Can you provide samples?

Most of the time, yes. If you would like to see a hard copy version of the style of invitation you are after, I can usually provide a sample of a past design. This can help in your decision making as you can touch and feel the quality of the paper and foiling / letterpress. Samples are approximately $10 including postage.
